Jenny Schatzle Beach Party Benefit

When you bring together like minded people things amazing things happen. The Jenny Schatzle Program of Santa Barbara changes lives through fitness and empowering mantras. The Surf Happens Foundation empowers low income, at risk youth, and children surviving cancer through the sport of surfing, ocean safety and stewardship. 

On Sunday August 21 the Jenny Schatzle Beach Party benefitting the Surf Happens Foundation was held at the picturesque setting of Santa Claus Lane. 75 degree weather, soft sand, and perfect 1-2 foot rollers greeted the crew on hand along with an amazing obstacle course by JSP, surf lessons by Surf Happens, spike ball, gourmet food by Duo Catering, and beverages by Rincon Brewery.

The day began with Dodge ball and finished with the obstacle course, smiles and memories that will last a lifetime for all of the families and friends. In the end $4,950 was raised for the SH Foundation which will fund an afterschool program for 12 local children from September-January.
